Kulinaaria OÜ is Estonia’s leading producer of convenience food, employing about 300 people. Each day we dispatch about 20 tons of products from our factory.
Kulinaaria OÜ is a subsidiary of AS Selver and belongs to the group of the listed company AS Tallinna Kaubamaja.
Our story – from Selveri Köök to the most modern food producer in the Baltics
Our success story started from the kitchen in the Kadaka Selver store, where food was prepared by hand and initially only supplied to Selver and the Tallinna Kaubamaja department store.
Kulinaaria, which has grown into an independent company and the most modern food producer in the Baltics, currently supplies Selveri Köök’s honest food to more than 70 Selver stores across Estonia. Other clients include the convenience stores of Olerex (Teeline) and Alexela, as well as Tallink ships.
In addition to the Selveri Köök brand, the Van Kook, Kulinaaria and Gurmee Catering brands have also been well received.
Our production – from a 200 m² kitchen in Kadaka Selver, we have grown into a factory with 8 000 m² of production space and 300 employees, producing about 20 tons of products per day.
Kulinaaria’s production volumes have grown rapidly over the years, and the expanded factory and new equipment fleet allow for further expansion.
Our products, handling processes and services are of high quality and meet the high demands placed on the food industry. We have ISO 22000:2018 food safety management system certification.
The key to our production is a combination of flexibility and capacity. As the market leader in Estonia in terms of production volumes and capacity, we can fulfil both industrial and small-scale orders.
Our original 50 products have now developed into a portfolio of more than 400 products. On average, we produce about 15 tons of products per day, and 20-26 tons during the holiday periods.
Our most popular products of all time are mashed potatoes, meat casseroles, liver pâté, potato and ham salad, and semolina mousse.
In December, people mostly buy baked potatoes and birthday salads, while sushi and cocktail salads are most popular in July.
Salads and ready-made food account for almost 70% of our total production volume.
